Short and plain: which data this website handles, why, and what rights you have.
Controller
The controller of personal data is Rokodelstvo Rustik – Karolina Žabčić (s.p.), Adlešiči 11A, 8341 Adlešiči. E-mail: oldwood.rustik@gmail.com.
What we process
The website is static and requires no sign-in. We process only the following:
- E-mails you send us yourself (for example with the "Enquire" button): your e-mail address, your name if you give it, and the content of the message. Messages are received and stored by our e-mail provider, Google (Gmail).
- Server logs of the host, Vercel: when you visit, the host records technical request data such as IP address, time, page address and browser.
- Piece images loaded from cdn.sanity.io (Sanity's content delivery network); when an image loads, that server receives your IP address and browser data.
- Your theme choice in the browser: the key "ow-theme" in localStorage. It is stored only if you switch between light and dark theme, stays on your device and is never sent to us.
No cookies, no tracking
The site uses no cookies, analytics, advertising or other trackers, so there is no cookie banner.
Purpose and legal basis
We use your e-mail only to answer your enquiry and to arrange a piece or a pick-up (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps at your request before a contract, or Art. 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in replying). Host logs and image delivery are needed to run and secure the site (Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not sell data and do not use it for direct marketing.
Retention
We keep messages as long as needed to reply and for any order or legal obligation, then delete them. Host logs are kept by Vercel under its own policies. The theme setting stays on your device until you clear it. Vercel, Sanity and Google may process data outside the EU/EEA, under the EU standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your data
- rectify inaccurate data
- erasure
- restrict processing
- object to processing
- data portability
Complaint
If you believe the processing breaks the rules, you can complain to the supervisory authority: Informacijski pooblaščenec (Slovenia), ip-rs.si.
